LOGO BANK The Australian Artillery Association is in the process of creating a digital logo bank. The artistic and technical capability of Mr Alex Young who joins us as a Graphic Artist enables us to revisit all current and past logos that have not been digitised and to re-create, update and produce an Adobe Illustrator (Ai) file from which can be produced high resolution JPG, PNG and PDF images. Additionally the Ai file enables us to manipulate the image to temporarily alter the image by way of inclusion or deletion of any part of the image, the changing of colours to accommodate the support of a special cause etc. The Ai file is particularly important for merchandising purposes whereby a high resolution PDF image is created for use by the manufacturer thereby ensuring a crisp and clear image of any size being available for use. Together we are recovering all logos with a view to ensuring that high resolution copies of them are available to all Regiments, Batteries and Associations. Read more... INCORPORATION OF THE AUSTRALIAN ARTILLERY ASSOCIATION On Saturday the 9th February 2019 a General Meeting of the Australian Artillery Association was held at the Gaythorne RSL Queensland at which by a unanimous vote it was decided that the Australian Artillery Association would seek incorporation in the State of Queensland as a Not-For-Profit organisation. All that remains now is for the paperwork to be completed and submitted and a decision to be made by the Office of Fair Trading Queensland. The paperwork should be submitted by the end of February with a decision expected by no later than the end of March.
